Project Description
The Jordan Downs redevelopment project aims to expand the public housing complex, doubling its size from 700 units to 1,400 units. The project covers an area of 118.5 acres, including 76.5 acres in the Southeast Los Angeles Community Plan Area and 42 acres in the Jordan Downs Annexation area. The redevelopment includes 115,000 square feet of retail space, 45,000 square feet of commercial space, and nine acres of park space.
